Nature Journal- Utah in Winter

Over Spring Break I filled my journal with sketches of the nature in the mountains I visited! I've visited friends here every year for as long as I can remember, but I always paid more attention to skiing than to anything else on the mountain. It was really cool to open my eyes to the flora and fauna for the first time and do a little research into it.

What should I fill the rest of the page with? I'm back in South Carolina, so maybe I'll doodle some of the spring blooms popping up.

This is the same journal as in the first picture, it's just a different vibe

Also, take a look at this ginormous baking equipment we saw in the window of a bakery in Midway:

I baked with my mom a bunch while in Utah- I wanted to post pictures of our creations today, but I realized they were all from our Chocolate Snowball challenge so they'll have to wait for that post. In the meantime, here's a picture of the sourdough focaccia my sister made:

Jet lag plus the Daylight Savings is messing with my mind. I currently have no concept of time. The clock says it's 12:40. 12:40 am? Pm? Who knows? Who cares?

If you do your own nature-journaling, bakery-hopping, focaccia-making, or just want to support your local blogger, let me know in the comments below, via email, and/or on Instagram and Facebook.

Peace and love,

Heather
