12 Things From 2020 to Keep in 2021

I know 2020 was a really, really hard, dark year for so many people and I feel very grateful that my family and friends were only minimally affected. If there's anything I can do to help any of my readers, please reach out to me in the comments below, via email, or on Facebook or Instagram. As I was went through my posts and pictures from the past year (as I always do, in order to hyperanalyze my Instagram stats), I found one worthwhile thing to hold on to from every month of the past year.

12 things from 2020 to keep in 2021

January. Drawing a meticulous calendar. Very relaxing. 

This was me trying the sweet potato toast trend and I do NOT recommend haha. At least it looks cute.

February. Baking with friends, sharing with friends. Must include heart-shaped sprinkles.

March. When things don't go my way, taking a straight-faced selfie with my middle finger up then moving on.

April. Rolling out muscles on rest days.

May. Composting! I had gotten out of my compost routine during the school year but once I was home I was able to really work on it and get some lovely dirt!

June. Trying several new recipes every week.

July. Daily journaling and meditation.

August. The movie "Wizards."

September. Going with the flow, trusting, trying new things even if they're scary!

October. Solid orange Fridays. Go Tigers (ignore the most recent game).

November. Going to bed early, waking up early.

December. Gentleness, and noticing the way natural light forms colors and shapes when it hits things.

The fight's not over just because the year changed- please keep wearing your masks and remember, they go OVER the nose. :) To all, I wish you happiness in the new year.
