Créme tangerine, montélimar...

Before anything else,

Cherry Energy Truffle Recipe!

These are delicious, really good for you, and easy to make! This serves one, so it make between 2 big truffles or 4 little ones.  To make more, just double/triple/quadruple everything.

scant 1 tbsp slivered almonds
1 tbsp dried cherries
1/4 tsp espresso powder
1/4 tsp cocoa powder

Toast the almonds.  Once the almonds are cool, combine all ingredients in a bowl and use your hands to pinch everything together into a paste.  Roll the paste into balls of whatever size you want.

I've wanted to make a Savoy Truffle-inspired smoothie bowl for ages, so when my dad found some tangerines in the woods in our yard (idk he does that.  He found a grapefruit over the summer too. Just a single grapefruit growing in the swamp), I jumped at the opportunity to make use of it. I'm especially motivated to post this because I've befriended a fellow Beatles enthusiast and I think this will make her excited.
créme tangerine- tangerine
montélimar- almonds
ginger sling- fresh ginger
pineapple heart- pineapple
coffee dessert- espresso powder
cool cherry cream- dried cherries
nice apple tart- apple
coconut fudge- coconut extract
I don't remember why I added cocoa powder, except that it goes well with the other ingredients in the truffle. I guess it could be the fudge part of coconut fudge.

The smoothie was honestly kind of gross because the tangerine was sooo sour.  What's sweet now turns so sour ;)  But if you have a sweeter tangerine maybe you'll want to try it.

1 tangerine, peeled and seeded, in sections
~1 square inch cube of ginger
1/2 cup pineapple, cubed
1 apple, cubed
1/2 tsp coconut extract

Don't forget, the video is on The Blergh Youtube! Complete with my crummy guitar strumming because I didn't want to get copyright citations for using the actual Beatles song. By the way, credit for everything Savoy Truffle-related goes to The Beatles.
Per usual, if you make any of these recipes, let me know in the comments below, on Instagram, or on Facebook. Or you can email me. I always forget about that.

World peace and love,
Heather <3
