As much as I love my smoothies, very rarely do I actually repeat a recipe. Usually, I just throw ingredients into a blender and hope it turns out good.
There is one smoothie, however, that I have written down a recipe for because it's just really good. Which is why this post is titled "The Really Good Green Smoothie".
I think it's weird that green smoothies get treated differently from other smoothies simply because they're green. Like any smoothie, a green smoothie can be nasty. It can also be delicious. This one is as delicious as it healthy.
The really good green smoothie:
1 cup greens (I use spinach/arugula)

1 banana
1 tbsp almond butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup orange juice
Blend all until smooth.
