Interview with Tori of Tori Talks Too Much

If you're looking for a something to smile at, Tori Talks Too Much is the place to go. It's a new blog composed of friendly, bubbly posts written by author Tori, known to many as Tech Support Tori.
I was lucky enough to have lunch with Tech Support Tori so I could learn about her blog and her.

What inspired you to start your blog?
Everyone else seemed to have one, so I just sorta got one too.

Tell us the story of the your nickname, Tech Support Tori.
So it started last year when I just started helping everyone out and I just- someone said that I was tech support. And then boom. And I just... HEY, IT'S 11:11!

What can we expect from your blog in the future?
Rants about how great Hamilton is.

How did you first get to know the popular Broadway musical Hamilton?
It all started one day when my sevvie forced me to listen to it.

Coffee or tea?
Tea all the way, man.
'Cause I hate coffee.
I've never tasted coffee before, actually.

Team Cap or Team Iron Man?
Team Iron Man!
What influenced you to join Team Iron Man?
Peter Parker.
At this point Tori left momentarily, in search of a fork.

What song lyrics inspire you?
//laughter... Hamilton... So it's um... the lyrics are, um... //more laughter// I'm sorry. It's terrible. 'Cause it's, like... Hamilton. "Dying is easy, son. Living is harder."
Where did you hear them?
George Washington...

What is one of the first things that goes through your mind when you wake up in the morning?
"Why am I waking up this early?"
How does that affect your day?
I realize just how much sleep I lose every day.

How would you describe your elementary school experience?
Honestly, I hopped around to so many different elementary schools, I don't think there's a way to describe it in just a few words.

What prompted you to learn how to play the trumpet?
So originally I played the french horn. And when I moved to Florida, I went to middle school and they didn't have a french horn. So then I started playing the trumpet since it was the closest to the french horn they had. And now I just love the trumpet, and play it.
What's your favorite style of music or song to play?
On the trumpet? Um, I don't know, just playing pop songs I guess. Also, I like playing Christmas songs, 'cause, I don't know, it's just so cheerful. And making horse noises!
What's the hardest part of playing?
The hardest part is playing consecutive high notes that are the top of my range, and having to be able to play them for a continuous amount of time wihtout getting tired. And having enough confidence to play solos.
