NaNoWriMo 2015 Day 29

Hello everyone! Happy Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it! :)

How is NaNoWriMo going, you ask?

Great!

There are roughly twenty-eight hours and thirty minutes left to November, and with that to NaNoWriMo. And I have four hundred and sixty four words to go before I hit 50k!

The plot is not coming as easily as the words are- in fact, I focused so much on embellishing everything to up my word count, that the plot kind of got lost in overly poetic descriptions of grass and hands. Hands are so fun to describe.
Anywho, I'm just now climbing the rising action in my novel. So, although my 50,000 words will hopefully be accomplished by midnight tomorrow night, I do not foresee the story being complete for some time. But I'll be working on it.

And fanfiction. I've been having Stony angst cravings, plus some Legolas keeps saying witty remarks in my head.

But now, here is the latest paragraph from my NaNoWriMo novel:

--
Iseldis was fuming, even when Ruby, Lucy, and Makely managed to sneak her back to the cottage, which was fairly easy since almost the entire village was consumed with the excitement of the visit from the King's knights. In the distraction, all they had to do was dart across the soft dirt road. Her door was still open. Shadite, who had been staring intently at the horses that the knights rode on, nickered a friendly welcome to them as they bustled into Iseldis's little wooden cottage.
--

Not the best as far as writing, but it got the job done.

In other news, I had a lovely Thanksgiving with some wonderful people which I may blog about at some point. There's so much that I'm thankful for~<3 <3 <3

And I have an audition for a local production of Cats on Tuesday! However, this past Monday at dance I was working on my left split when my hip popped and I don't really know what I did to it but the next day I couldn't walk and had to use crutches. It had been getting better over the course of this week, and I figured I would be able to dance pretty decently at the Cats audition. Then...(ominous music plays in the background) last night, somebody brought up Spider-man. I was sitting on the couch, and I started to explain to them about Spider Man being in Civil War and probably becoming an Avenger. In my excitement, I kicked both my legs up into a straddle. A stupid move, really. My hip did its cracky thing again and it's been a little weird since then, but I think it will be alright for Cats. Que sera, sera, right?

//if I had a gif of Shigure Sohma I would put it here
