NaNoWriMo 2015 Day 1

Yesterday I said that I was branching out and trying a new genre. Yesterday I also said that I didn't have a solid plot.
Yesterday, after I posted that, I started from scratch. I'm not exactly in a different genre than usual, but in some ways I am. But my plot is growing and curling and twisting and I'm really excited!

Yesterday I promised that I would post the latest paragraph of my NaNoWriMo novel here, every Sunday. Today is Sunday.

If you take any part of my writing in any way whatsoever, even if it's total trash, I will hunt you down and read to you a collection from my early days of fanfiction. This will be your untimely fate, so choose you to plagiarize.

Thus I present to you, from the first day of NaNoWriMo 2015, a single paragraph:

Lucy wrote up a sticky note letting the other employees know the breaking news of the Alric Verci defiency in the fiction section. Then she made a note to suggest selling brand bags at the front of the store.

Exciting, right? Just kidding. It makes more sense when read with the rest of the stuff, I promise.

My word count for today levels to 2025 words, which is, I think, a pretty good start. Now I just have to keep that up all month... ahh!

I'll see you next week- maybe sooner. In the meantime, I'll be writing as much as I can every day. If you want to find me at the NaNoWriMo website, I'm here.

Have a great night/day!
-Heather
