Yay A Post

About three weeks ago, I wrote up a big post with a bunch of crafts and other fun stuff, some of them pertaining to Halloween, and some of them just fallish stuff. I planned to finish the post before Halloween and send it out. It was going to be the last big post before NaNoWriMo.

I forgot to save it.

I spent a long time on November 1st trying to recreate it, and ended up just using this.

Now it's almost Thanksgiving, and I think I've realized NaNoWriMo is almost a lost cause(Although I'm not giving up yet- I'm just going to go for 30,000 words instead of 50,000!), so I thought it was high time to post all the stuff I've been holding on to.

Because I procrastinated so much, I'm going to save the Halloween stuff for next year. But I'm going to post a series of two posts with crafts and other fun stuff. So enjoy!

The first thing I want to share is this absolutely adorable idea I found on Pinterest(that actually works). All you need to start are some canning jars, which can be found at most grocery stores. Wash them and fill them with whatever you so desire. Most examples I saw were filled with candy like lollipops or Starbursts, which is a cute idea because you can give them color schemes. I filled them with chocolate covered pretzels, which turned out to be a big hit.
Once you've got them filled, you can decorate them by securing squares of tissue paper or cloth over the top. I used tissue paper, but I'd reccomend using cloth because tissue paper is delicate and rips easily. Make sure to cut the squares pretty big, then wrap ribbon around the circumference to tie it on(it's a good idea to have some tape handy, just in case).
Then they're ready!
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
