NaNo Post #1

Day 1: I started out slow- actually, I started out at a complete stop. I didn't write anything the first day.

Day 2: Ookay, major change of plans. Instead of writing 30,000 words this year, I'm going to write 50,000. I can't figure out how to change my word count goal. Let's do this.

Day 3: Realized I'm not on the Young Writers Program, which is why I can't change my word goal. 50,000 words, here I come.

Day 4: Not even close to as many as I should have.

Day 5: Yay, got around 1,700 words today, which is pretty good!

Day 6: STreesss

Day 7: Wrote a playlist of songs that are good for the muse. Didn't write much as far as the novel goes, though.

Day 8: Wrote around 1,000 words- not enough, but still pretty good.

Day 9: Freaking out but staying confident- I need roughly 6,000 more words than I have right now, but I'm staying determined.

Hello all. By the end of November, I'll probably be in an insane asylum.

Coping with writing, school, piano, and dance was incredibly difficult, along with doing all sorts of other things. The good news- well, sort of good news- is that I fractured my pinkie finger playing basketball about two weeks ago. I wasn't supposed to play piano at all, but I had a recital coming up so I still practiced a lot. The recital was yesterday(it was really fun!), so now I'm not supposed to play at all. But that's not happening, since I'm still playing for school(I'm not even going to begin to explain that one).

Long story short, I have to drop lessons for the next three weeks, so that clears up some free space. I should have more time to write.

I'm going to go ahead and show y'all my playlist of songs that inspire me. I select different ones for different moods I'm trying to write. I definitely suggest doing this, since it's not only fun but it also keeps the words flowing.
